Darah Leigh Roundtree, here! I'm a very grateful & smitten wife to the kindest man I know, Caleb. We have been married for 8 years! I've been professionally shooting, as a photographer, since January of 2018 and have loved every second of it! Being behind my camera and creating images brings me absolute satisfaction and joy.

I'm probably the craziest plant lady you'll ever meet and you'll most likely find me in comfy clothes 99% of the time. I am pretty good at letting my coffee get cold and eating half baked chocolate chip cookies and Mac & Cheese. We live in a small, simple dwelling near the sunny Gulf Coast in a tiny city located in Mississippi, called Bay Saint Louis.

As a photographer, I truly adore capturing the happiest memories for your wedding day, for families, couples, & graduates. I'm happy to serve the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Louisiana Northshore (with my sweet hubby as my helper/tech support along side me). I can't wait to hear your story, to meet you, & to serve you.

If you are up for having a blast while having your photos taken, I'm your person! I promise, you will leave our session saying: "That wasn't so bad at all!" I may ask you to do weird sounding prompts, but I promise it'll look so good in photos! I'm a naturally social introvert who loves to bring out the smiles, laughs, and silliness. I'm, honestly, just your friend that is going to take your pictures!

In my work, I strive for the purest quality that I can give to my deserving clients. I always want my efforts that go into what I do, to show just how much I value them & their loved ones. I aim to weave variety all throughout my portfolio, showing the appreciation I have for growth, versatility, composition, simplicity, naturalness, color, & detail. I thrive on movement and candid moments that infuse your photos with the most beautifully raw, pure elements. Making your photos look true to life, in color & tone, is something that is so important to me.

I want to put a smile on your face, surround you with warmth & ease for the entire time we'll have together. That would truly be my greatest wish. I am forever thankful to everyone who has entrusted and will entrust me with such a privilege of documenting the best times of your lives. Being your photographer means so much to me.

Meet Caleb, y’all.

This man, right here, is my husband of 8 years! He is the most gentle, supportive human. He has been assisting me with weddings since day one. He helps me with second shooting, he carries my camera bag, he takes my headshots, he does the taxes, and is my tech support guy (literally 24/7), and he’ll be the one that helps make first looks, on wedding days, go smoothly! He’s patient, deserves all the credit in the world, and really makes Roundtree Photography tick when it comes to all things “back end of the business” and behind the scenes production.

We have a new team member!

On December 13, 2023 we adopted a precious puppy and named her Hazel! We have always wanted a dog since we have been together, but we are so glad we waited all of those years because Hazel fell into our laps in the most perfect way and at the most perfect time. We are obsessed with her and think she is the most special, sweet baby!!! She stole our hearts, literally, from the moment we saw her and she is OURS! We love being her parents and are excited to share this little life with her!

When you see us together at a wedding, you best believe we’ve had Chick Fil A before we came and listened to 90’s country on the car ride over. You may or may not find us in the corner eating wedding cake, line dancing to Footloose, or slow dancing to at least one song… don’t mind us!
